A business plan is a document that contains the analysis of actual position (business, organizational, financial) of the company and the important operational and financial aspects of a particular investment project (business idea) that the company wants to implement. The business plan is also the basic document for negotiations with potential investors and creditors, which proves the economic justification of the planned investment.
The business plan does not refer to the regular business acitvities of the company, but to a specific investment project. It is usually made for a period of one to five years. Mandatory parts of the business plan are:
- analysis of the state of the company
- description of the planned product / service
- marketing plan
- production plan
- plan of organization, personnel and management
- financial plan
- conclusion on the justification of the investment and proposal for project implementation
